Jakarta, May 10 -- The Manpower Ministry collaborated with the Indonesian Consulate General in Hong Kong to conduct business matching between Indonesian migrant worker placement companies (P3MI) and companies in Hong Kong and Macau.

The effort was carried out to expand the job market for Indonesian migrant workers (PMIs) in Macau.

"This activity is our joint effort to obtain specific information on formal sector employment opportunities for Indonesian migrant workers who have an interest in working in Macau," Manpower Minister Ida Fauziyah said on Friday.

Currently, Hong Kong and Macau, which are special administrative regions of China, are the main destinations for PMI placements, she informed.
